Frequently Asked Questions
I have cameras - do I still need an alarm?
They do different jobs. Cameras record what happened; an alarm gives you a chance to act while it is happening, because the siren deters and your phone is notified immediately. The strongest setup is the two working together.
Will the alarm false-trigger if I have pets?
Standard motion sensors can pick up pets. Where needed we fit pet-immune sensors and set the mounting height accordingly. Just tell us about the animal at the survey.
Does the alarm work during a power cut?
Yes. Alarm panels carry a backup battery and keep running through an outage. Battery life is finite, so we check it at scheduled maintenance.
