Electrical Installation

We install electrical systems from scratch and rewire ageing ones in homes, businesses and apartment buildings. In buildings over about twenty years old, constantly tripping fuses, hot sockets and dimming lights usually come down to undersized cable and missing earthing - rewiring solves that at the root.

What this service covers

  • Complete rewiring, surface-mounted or buried
  • Replacing old wiring and upgrading cable sizes
  • Earthing installation and testing
  • Residual current device and fuse group arrangement
  • Dedicated circuits for air conditioning, water heaters and ovens
  • Rebuilding electrical infrastructure after renovation

Where we install it

  • Home and apartment rewiring
  • Office and business installation
  • Renovation and refurbishment electrical work
  • Apartment communal area wiring

Frequently Asked Questions

When does an electrical installation need rewiring?

As a rule of thumb, anything over 20-25 years old deserves inspection. The common signs are fuses tripping often, sockets running warm, lights dimming when an appliance starts, and no earthing at all. In older buildings the cable was never sized for modern appliance loads, so the problem is the whole circuit rather than one point.

Can we stay in the property during a rewire?

For partial work, yes - we move room by room and leave the power on overnight. A full rewire involves opening and re-plastering walls, so an empty property is usually faster and cleaner. We agree the approach during the survey.

What happens without earthing?

Earthing routes leakage current safely to ground. Without it, touching a metal-bodied appliance such as a washing machine or water heater carries a shock risk, and a residual current device cannot work to full effect either. It is one of the first things we check on any rewire.
