Frequently Asked Questions

How much does LED conversion cut the bill?

Lighting is roughly a tenth of a household bill, but a far larger share in shops and offices where many fittings run all day. LED draws noticeably less than halogen or fluorescent, and in commercial spaces the investment usually pays back quickly. The exact figure depends on fitting count and daily hours.

Do I need an existing ceiling point for a light fitting?

No. If a point exists the job is quick; if not, a new circuit or surface trunking may be needed. For heavy fittings the right fixing for the ceiling type matters - plasterboard ceilings sag if this is done carelessly.

Can you fit automatic stairwell lighting?

Yes. We install sensor and timer-controlled lighting in communal areas. It saves considerably against lights that stay on permanently and lowers the building service charge.
